What if the hardest part of waiting isn’t the waiting itself, but realizing that God may not give us the explanation we’re asking for?

We often ask, “God, when will this change?” But maybe the deeper question is: “Who am I becoming while I wait?”

There have been moments in my own life when I’ve prayed for something to change and, honestly, I didn’t understand why God seemed silent.

I wanted clarity. I wanted an answer I could hold onto. But eventually, I had to face something uncomfortable: was I trusting God, or was I only trusting Him as long as He answered me the way I hoped?

That question changed the way I saw waiting.

Because sometimes God doesn’t use the waiting season to explain everything.

Sometimes He uses it to expose what we’ve been holding onto, our need for control, our fear of uncertainty, or our belief that we need to understand everything before we can have peace.
